Advocacy & Safety - Cycling and Health

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm sure this has been posted here before but it seems to be going around again today. In fact a non-biking friend sent it to me and asked if he could really lose weight by biking to work.

Thank you for sharing. I might post this to my Facebook account :)
Edit: I've blogged this graphic, and posted a link to the entry for all of my friends and family to see. Once again, thank you so much for sharing!

I am convinced the mental health aspect is key, as well. I LOVE riding my bike. I arrive at work refreshed, happy (or happier than I would otherwise), and ready for the day. Didn't get to ride today, nor will I tomorrow - I am looking forward to my trainer in a few minutes.
For almost my entire 35-year career, my home-to-work commute has always included some walking, jogging, and/or bicycling, and I am reaping the rewards now.
