If you run a straight cable, get an Odyssey Linear Slic cable. If you run gyro cables, get an Odyssey Slic cable (non-Linear) or something similar.

I dont run a gyro but it said on dans comp "it provides a stiffer brake feel" does that mean its hard to pull

No, not at all. If anything, the brakes will work better with the Linear than a normal cable, and the cable won't kink as easily if you do barspins or tailwhips.

I am completly fixing my brakes by getting Snafu Mobeus gyro with Odyssey cables, and a snafu C lever, and Odyssey 2X4 pads on my Odyssey Evolvers. Wouldn't that be kick @$$! Ohh yeah and I have nice big chrome tripple wall rim to(recently trued). :D :D

Whats wrong with all that stuff beerman? Or are you just a gyro hater? You can't tell me that once all of that is setup that I won't have almost perfect braking. What is your brake setup?

i dont use brakes anymore, but when i did i had revenge brakes. they can be used as a truing stand. u can por listerine on a rag, and wipe it on your rim. your brake pads will work better

You only need a gyro if you are spinning your bars more than once around which most people aren't, especially street and most park riders.. if you do, a gyro is what you need, go for it.

No. Slic cables are pretty much the standard. Linear Slic cables don't kink and bind up as much when spun around. And Nokon cables are pretty much super-Linear cables (albeit insanely expensive).
