Saturday was a fun day. Chris of Pondero blog (http://chris-pondero.blogspot.com/) hosted the Third Annual Fall Finale Country Path Ramble out of his home outside Denton, Texas. 44 miles of mostly unpaved country roads, a nice ride in the country. Complete writeup here (http://doohickie.blogspot.com/2011/12/third-annual-fall-finale-country-path.html).

Nice roads up thattaway. A few years back we used to do the "bridges ride" where we tagged as many of those old iron bridges as we could. Sadly, they are mostly gone now, replaced by those soullless concrete bridges.

There's talk of doing it again in the spring.

Perfect, just what I was looking to find, some good non-paved surfaces around here to do some riding on. Good write up also. :)
