New to all this and would like a ,,,,a little information. Would like for the most part, direct route to Boulder Colorado. I might do in the future. From area close to Adrian MI and would like to do a lot of roadside camping.

Suggestions please,,

You could get by with road maps for each state you will pass through - they usually list campsites. If you need more info, borrow a AAA guidebook. One suggestion I have is that you swing far away from the south shore of lake michigan, unless you find it a little too easy to breathe. Other places that stink,that you may encounter: Greeley Colorado, and most of rt. 30 in Nebraska. Of course being from Michigan, you must be familiar with odour.
