has anyone given the promax CF hubs the test of time? they're so hot looking that i have a hard time resisting...but how do they hold up?

incase anyone doesn't know what i'm referring to...

I think they're pretty new so you won't find many people who've been riding on them for very long. They do look nice, and when I was at the store buying hubs I held a promax CF in one hand and a promax SB in the other and the weight difference is very noticable.

They do look sweet, I *almost* bought them instead of the Promax SB but the price difference was too big. They would've matched so well too.....

i didn't realize how new they were. i know that i've only ever seen them online at business cycles. i'm a little jealous that you got to hold one.

i don't think they're that new... they've been on business cycles' site for as long as i can remember... at least a year, probably more... iirc, american cyclery & world class cycles also carry them...

I saw them at American, I think they said that they'd had them for about 6 months, that was 2 or 3 months ago...

One of the guys waiting at Heron's Head had them on his Mondonico.
They looked purty. Bet they ride the same as the non-CF ones though.
