There has recently been an abundance of these inflatable christmas yard decorations. The things are hideous!
I propose an archery only hunting season starting on the 26th and going through the 31st.

Those things call for whacking sticks and lighter fluid.

We use these, and give people "pie" for the life of their tacky decorations.

I knew there was a reason I liked you.
Now, if I could only get you to drive an orange Charger with the Stars n' Bars and horn that plays Dixie.

You mean the inflatable Santas that are left deflated during the day, looking like Santa had a terrible skydiving accident?

We are plagued by Christmas inflatables in my city.
The latest Christmas lawn fart is Santa on a Harley:(

So the next step would be a hydrogen-filled Santa and reindeers that will float above your rooftop.

I would buy a permit for that season and hunt to my limit or over EVERY DAY. I might not even have to leave the mobile home park to do it.

However, it should be extended to include inflatable Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations... so Labor Day to MLK Day. When they start selling inflatable Easter yard decorations, it should be year-round hunting.

And what about a special category for the tactical junkies to snipe out those Christmas lights that are left installed *after Christmas*? You know, people that just plug them off and left them there the whole year.

This is a free country! You all are a bunch of raggin' a$$ busy bodies. Just a bunch of finger-waggin' old hens. I say if someone wants to put the Goodyear blimp in their yard and leave it there all year, then that is their right. Go find something better to do. I'm going to ride around and look at all the cool decorations on peoples' yards.

Also, rather than archery-only, can we add crossbows, slingshots, and air guns?

Squirrel season, deer season, rabbit season and tourist season!

Shoot one damn tourist and all hell breaks loose.

Those things remind me of dead flowers when they're deflated.

They do sell that crap up here, one of the houses I go by to go to work has them for every season. Yuck!

And when you get back, all your deco's are gonna be fricassed, and a dump-truck load of other crap is heading for your driveway, courtesy of us "raggin' ass busy body old hens and our waggin' fingers". And some of us are gonna be hidin' out by your mailbox the next day, too... watch your ankles.

Except that the Goodyear Blimp is an awesome flying machine. Inflatable Santa? Nope.

Combine this with the flaming arrows concept and we are talking some quality entertainment. Flaming Christmas decorations falling for the sky....OH THE HUMANITY!!

According to it's creator, a pedal powered mobile air cannon.

Edit: I'm guessing the little wheels are the drive wheels?

I would guess that is it not mobile. The rear wheels are for tilting it up and rolling it places. There is an output shaft from the exercycle to the air compressor at the rear that supplies air to the cannon. Either that, or that rear unit is a hydro gear box and it is driven, but I see no way to steer.

RaleighSport
12-27-11, 11:58 AM
me either... I think a dual drivetrain system might work better, one running to a ghetto home made compressor of some sort.... you'd need a tank of a bike though... like a schwinn varsity

We're going to allow molotov cocktails for yards that contain 5 or more inflatables.
