I have owned this bike since new, ridden and loved it lots. A few components have been replaced but only in keeping with the spirit of the original. The stem is a longer steel quill from the same time period. Crank, chainrings and bottom bracket are replaced but the originals are still here. The main items that make it Grant Peterson's favorite are still there: steel frame, ritchey rims, suntour accushift drivetrain (in perfect shifting order), Dia-compe brakes, open pedals with steel toeclips, etc. Heck, I even have the original owner's manual. Any idea what it might be worth?

Unfortunately for sellers (fortunate for buyers) older MTBs get no respect. This one is a nice Bridgestone which definitely helps, but I remember seeing a very nice MB-0 (aka MB-Zip) sit forever on craigslist. Not sure if the guy ever sold it, but I think he was asking $400? Can't remember the exact price...

If I were selling it I'd probably put it at $250 but be ready to take more like $200.

My son's MB-0 took forever to sell at our asking.

These numbers may well be accurate.

Neat bike to the op.

this makes me sad for you guys and happy for me.. maybe I can swoop up a 1 around 100.. mtb's tend to go dirt cheap here.
