Friendships disappear sometimes, like the snow in early spring
While a forest of hearts that have bonded move on and grow lush, the snow will change form and move on, flowing downriver to new oceans.

In time the snow now turned to water will rise from the ocean to be carried as clouds which explore themselves in paintings against the azure sky.
While bonded hearts settle down for their long winters nap, quietly the snow returns from its long journey to visit once again upon the forest of friendships.

Sad because of his absence, guilty for abandoning but, quietly and gently falling again to be with his forest of friendships and to dream of renewal.

Good to see you again, Pete. Although seeing you ride up Diablo in a single speed is once again humbling.

Have a great 2012

From the current issue of Bicycling Magazine - "List of 101 Things We Love About Cycling"
Here is one of the entries.

"The guy who shows up for the group ride, untrained, on a ragged bike, and thrashes everyone"

They must know Pete.

Happy New Year everyone.

Hey Pete, glad to see back on the bike (at least through the beauty of BF and the Internet). Too bad I was out of town when you made you triumphant return. If you feel like doing anything New Year's, let me know.
