Hello everyone! I am not new to cycling, just to having money avalible to spend on it! My name is Erik, and I am currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Enginering. Through college I have been riding a trek mountainbike frame with a mismatched green fork (rigid) and large and ugly, but useful, wald rear baskets. The bike was almost dead BEFORE I took it to college.. As I get my own apartment, and move on to living on my own, I would like to work towards a car light lifestyle,as well as being able to do all my own repair and tune up work.
I came to the forums looking for info I need to find what I want to buy, as I want a bike that can double duty commuting with heavy load utility cycling (at least for a few years until I can afford a second good bike!)
So thank you all! Just one question, where is the best place to post my bicycle wishes and be pointed towards products that will fit those wishes? (for an entire bike) Thanks!
Thank you everyone! It is time for me to stop just lurking.
