I am going to be in Plantation for several days as part of a long business trip. Waay too long off the bike, and am looking for a ride on Sunday, the 22nd. Planning to rent a bike, bringing my shoes, pedals, and kit. Not a hammerhead, but I can plug along pretty well at 20 in the flats, but on most days my averages are killed by hills around these parts.
Anybody know of a club or shop ride happening in the area? I am good for just about any distance, but certainly want a good bit of time on the road if I am going to spend $50 or more to rent a bike.
And, rain or shine - dunno if rides get rained out down there or not.
