Hi, all-
I have an Ibex 450 Alpine that came with a Rock Shox Judy C Fork. I've never really ridden it- so it's a brand-new 2003 bike/fork.
I'm now going to start riding it, street only- and am adding some good street tires, changing the pedals and grips... essentially, I want to convert it to a hybrid.
I'd like to replace the fork, but I need to find the specs on the fork so I can get something equivalent- or a little more stable, meaning increased rake, if I understand correctly.
Does anyone know what the critical dimensions are on this fork? I know it's a 1-1/8 threadless tube, but I can't find the offset and other important specs. Can anyone help me out here? Also I am open to any suggestions to a good fork for this conversion... my goal is reduced weight (and improved ride if possible)
Thanks in advance!
Wes
