Books, Movies, Music & Entertainment - Citi commercial

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Has anyone seen the Citi commercial where a group of guys are out for a MTB ride and one of the guys doesn't have a bike but is pretending to ride one? At the end of the commercial, he hops off a drop and goes skidding down the side of a hill on his belly. The tagline is something like, "waiting too long to get your bike?" or something like that. It had me rolling on my floor in laughter.
That commercial is hilarious. Love the part where he does a faceplant!

I haven't seen it yet, but will keep and eye if they broadcast it again
Yeah that's the one with the Trek bike that the guy couldn't wait for. The funniest part is they're all decked out in mtb gear, including the guy who's running around with his arms in front of him like he's holding on to the bars.
I think it is totally stupid. The first time I saw it I couldn't believe some advertising firm actually wasted time and money to present it to the client. :crash:
Ya and the guy is sure moving fast on the ground too... of course the bike theys how is around 350, about as much as the clothes he is wearing...
stupid, but funny. nice. at least they were smart enough to get good bikes for commercial. one is kona, what's the other one?

Cooler still, is that the guy who says, "yeah, great ride", is Gary Fisher. At least thats what I heard.
I saw it. Thought it was cute.

yeah, i liked it too.
the best part is the guys too friends have nice bikes, then it shows a picture of the bike they offer as a reward, and it was like a $200 trek fully rigid.

LoL Cryogenic and I were at O Charleys, Cryogenic was drinking. We both saw that commercial and just died laughing...everyone else couldn't figure out why were laughing, got some funny looks. Then we went on to guess how those bikes probably weren't treks anyways :D
