$699, free shipping, and it comes with an accessory package that has fenders, rear rack, etc....lifetime warranty....

Besides the obvious size difference how would this fare with the Dahon Jetstream P8 I've been eyeing for $800. I haven't heard of Prodeco Technologies before. I know the hinge in the middle is frowned upon for most mountain bikes....the claim to be the best mountain bike you'll ever ride is also a bit far fetched....just looking for something with a softer ride (light trails) for the times my Speed D7 won't cut it.

Cheers and Happy Holidays!

'Built' has soft definitions.. if the bikes come partially assembled, in a carton.
then every buyer of any bike in the USA , gets one built in the US.

Even if every part is not manufactured here.

Looks like Prodeco is mainly an electric folding bike seller.. folding 20" and 26" bikes with low powered hub motors, except for their 500w hotrod.

are those threaded headsets?

it doesn't look bad for the price.

I found a thread over at MTBR and they were just clowning the bejesus out of it. I'm not expecting it to perform like a real mountain bike.

this bike looks it has all the right marketing points.... it looks like a thousand bucks or more...
BUT
its probably heavy on all the wrong places, and soft and too light on other important areas ... like the "downtube" to the smallish headtube .... Its a looker.... not so much a bike you will enjoy for years to come.

And I am not saying cause I sell Terns and Dahons .....

thor

too much fluff in their advert....( all the right stuff for non cycling folks ) its not made in the USA for example ...
