Hey folks, I'm in want of a high quality, British-made headset from early to mid '70s... with a 27.0 fork crown race. This is for a '75 Jack Taylor curved-tube. I don't want to cut the fork crown to take a 26.4.
Any suggestions? Thanks. :)

i'm not sure but i think you may be able to just buy a 27mm crown race http://www.amazon.com/Sunlite-Crown-Race-Racing-27-0mm/dp/B000AOA0YC, and use any other hcadset you choose. in other words the crown race seating diameter may be independent of other headset dimensions. maybe others can be more authoritative.
