Foo - 2012, bite me.

I thought 2010 was about as bad as would get. My Mother-in-Law and Dad both died, my wife almost died from infections, and indeed, lost her big toe. I lost my weekends to my semi-invalid Father-in-Law.

2011 was worse. My wife lost another toe, my Mom died after an operation and my Father-in-Law died. I found my favorite cat Angelo dead this AM. I buried him about an hour ago.

What else going to happen 2012? I've no expectation that it's gonna get better. My guess is that my wife dies, one or both of my Pomeranians die, I lose my job, or my best friend, who's been having some health problems, dies. Or all of the above.

So bite me 2012. Here I am, ready to assume the position. :notamused:

Not to take away from your post, but unless you have a time travel machine, it's still 2011... until midnight tonight.

So maybe the fates (or whoever) were just finishing off their bad list for 2011 and you'll start 2012 clean and have a good year?

(Columbus is still on this side of the international date line, last time I checked)

Sounds worse than my 2010. But 2011 was better. So I'm optimistic about 2012.:)

2009 was super suckage here with the divorce BS (but it was worth it).
2010 was the broke year, paying off lawyer fees and recovering financially. And new GF.
2011 started financially better, then GF lost job, then we lost baby, then I lost job.
2012 meh... not expecting great riches out of it. Hopefully GF will stick around but who knows.

To the OP, sorry about your loves ones (that includes kitty of course).

Sorry to hear that! My wife and I lost my favorite cat this yr as well. We still think of her often 6months later. My 2011 was pretty shlitty overall as well, and am expecting 2012 to be much better.

gitarzan, I have to admit that I had no clue you have been facing so much adversity; you are usually pretty upbeat when you post here. Maybe this is where you come to get away from all that? Heres what I do, and this is not bs, it really is what I do. OK, I expect the worst poss outcome with everything in my life, that way no matter how it turns out things just don't seem to be that bad. Its worked out very well for me. =0) Good luck in 2012 my man.

I would say it can do nothing but get better... but I know better. Hopefully it will.

2007 and 2008 were bad.
2009 and 2010 were good
2011 was very bad

By that pattern I'm going to have a lousy 2012, but I'm hoping to break the pattern.

Hopefully with your low expectations, you'll have a rockingly awesome new year in exchange.
