Got this frame from a friend, none of the parts are original just stuff I had lying around, the back wheel is a 26" just for reference. It looks like it was originally a red or purple and there is the numbers 2650 stamped on the bottom bracket. If you need any more specific shots let me know. So experts what the heck is it?

I think you may be close, it's got cheap stamped and pressed in drop outs, surprisingly it's been bare metal for about 7 years and has only gained slight surface rust.
