I don't know a whole lot about vintage bikes. But, luckily, this is a Schwinn and there's probably a lot of knowledge about them.
It's a 1974 Schwinn Suburban that I found belonged to an elderly neighbor of mine. I bought it from him for $40. It had been stored indoors but it had minor surface rust on most of the chrome bits, badly aged tires/brake pads, and its components needed adjustment and cleaning. I have fixed all of that. Thoroughly went over the bike with steel wool + warm soapy water. Chrome is nice and shiny now. Gave it brand new tires and brake pads. Degreased and lubed the derailleurs and chain and adjusted everything.
Rides really well now. Honestly the bike cleaned up great and looks tip top now, but I'm having trouble figuring out what a good asking price for it would be for a CL listing.
