I need a gear system that is able to withstand large jumps and very bumpy ground such as stairs for an example. Although I cannot spend a whole ton of money as well. Any thoughts?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

CVTis your best bet. Alternatively, a 7spd dual-clutch manual.

Shimano Saint would work too.

If you provide more information regarding budget and what kind of bike and terrain you currently ride, people here will be able to give you more relevant help.

i like the Springfield Gear System, it works great going up and down stairs and over bumpy ground.

Yeah same here, unless maybe I make the mistake of not getting out of the little ring at the top of the hill...

I don't think I've done that since '89 or '90 tho.

If you wanna bust big jumps and ride ruff stuff and run a little chainring 1x9 I'd just run some kinda chain retention device.
