I'm a big guy as I'm sure some of you have picked up on. Right now I have a Marzocchi EXR Pro 100mm QR fork. I am looking into the Rockshox Psylo SL w/ 20MM thru axel. My question is, will this fork be able to take the abuse that my marzocchi fork is taking, is it stronger? Any pros/cons, etc? and is 250 bucks a good price?

its a great fork, and the qr 20 is definatly a plus in the strength catigory for big riders.

Psylos for big guys? Id have to say no.

Contrary to KonaRider's review (and Im not saying he's wrong) I found the two Psylo's I had to be quite noodly for anything except trail riding. I weigh about 185 or so and I felt much better after putting a DJ2 on my urban/trials/FR bike. That fork broke though, as every Marzocchi I have ever owned has done. And I admit that I never broke a Psylo, but they dont damp nearly as well as a yet-to-break Marzocchi. They are light, but they dont feel nice to me at all and I think what felt bad about them to me would be amplified by a bigger guy.
IMO, your best bet would be a Z1 for your Kona. Those are stiff and strong from what Ive ridden of them. But IMO, Zocchi internals tend to explode, and rockshox internals never actually work from the get-go. But a z1 would be the better choice for overall performance for a bigger fella IMO.
$250 for a psylo might be a good deal if its new. But again, Id get something stiffer.
