Foo - January 2012 Foo Photo Contest - We have a winner!

Since I messed up on who got to choose the theme a couple of months ago, we will have two themes for January.

Theme #1, chosen by October's winner Spock: Street photography with human element

Theme #2, chosen by November's winner BillyD: closeups/macro photos, nature ONLY

So let me see if I got this straight. Instead of the normal 1 photo rule, this month can enter 2 photos. However, one has to be og the street photography and the other photo has to be a closeup/macro - not 2 of the same class.

At the end of the month, presume it will still be just 1 vote combining the categories with 1 winner to get everything balanced out?

I like, I was tempted to use a close up of a dungeness crab I took at the San Francisco aquarium. I think I have that one posted over in the "Post your Photography" thread in the last few pages.

Yes, you can submit one photo for each theme. At the end of the month people will vote for which photos they like the best from all that were submitted for both themes combined. So they could vote for "tizeye macro/nature" and "tizeye street photo" as two of their choices. Whichever photo gets the most votes will win, regardless of theme.
