SO after a week of layin on the floor my bike is up and running again, just got my new wheels and disc set on, ALL SET TO GO! WOO!

Well as I return from a fellow rider's dorm I jumped a set of stairs (I bunny hopped before them so that I would land on the stairs and ride down them) when I landed amidst stairs something whent wrong, I could tell at the moment but when I came off the set I knew. I could hear my chain dragging........#$%^& I thought. This chain is only about two months old (I seriously broke the last one) so as I gather my chain I realize my powerlink (SRAM) is no where to be found!

SO here is my question, the powerlink I installed today was obviously not snapped into place (I cant remember that I did it and I took my Adderall, so I should have a good memory of todays events). Would you replace the chain, or just buy a new powerlink?
THANX

people lose their links all the time, this has been asked time and time again, just carry extras.

ummm...

Buy a chain tool, and link the Sram chain together. Just because it doesn't have the power link doesn't make it unuseable.

Powerlinks are 5 bucks if you really feel it is something you hafta have. I can personally live without one...

Just make sure the chain isn't twisted before you reuse it.
