found this little guy at the local salvation army for my wife but it's just a tad bit too tall for her. what do you guys think would be a fair asking price for such a bike? it's in great shape, although it could use new tires and probably new cables as well.

I'd ask $100, take 70 probably. Maybe more if it's a real mixte, say $125. I think they were fake mixtes in 1984, though, so...

How is it too tall? Seat all the way down is too high?

sorry...too long, not too tall. the handlebars feel a little too far for her. she prefers her peugeot, and theres no reason in keeping an extra bike around if she wont ride it.
