For those in the UK:
Looks like they have a pretty good deal on a 2011 Mu P7...

me too. Half price - great deal. But what would I tell the wife. And the bank manager.
Thanks for the heads up. Just bought one. And $130 shipping to Australia - bargain!

I just grabbed a Mu P7 from Evans (£479.99). They still have stock remaining according the web site.
I was also pondering the Vitesse H7 DG (£450), but opted for the Mu. Never used a folding bike before, so hopefully I made the correct choice.

Has anyone in the U.S. purchased from Evans Cycles?
They appear to still have some Mu Unos in stock, whereas I'm hearing conflicting things regarding whether or not they'll be available in the U.S. this year. Thor responded to an inquiry of mine a few weeks ago saying they'll come, although he's not sure when, but NYCeWheels recently posted that they will not be available yet again this year.
Even with shipping the Evans Cycles price isn't too bad, but it's been pointed out to me that I'd have no warranty, and that I may get some surprise import fees.

Mu Unos will be available beginning of march
I picked up a Jetstream P8 on monday from Evan's. It was a great price for a great bike.

I am really looking into getting a Dahon for travels. Been eyeing up the Dahon Speed Uno, simple no maintenance.

Here's a pic of the Jetstream.

I made some changes from the factory bike, adding some Big Apple tires and some Crank Bros pedals.
I've only had a chance for a couple of short rides on it, but so far it's been superb. The suspension is far better than I suspected it would be. The big apple tires help the ride even more.
I thought going from a 27speed to an 8 might cause a problem on the hills, but it wasn't too bad. The build quality seems great, and all the parts the spec'd it with good. Apart from the pedals which are too slippy (Hence the Candy 1's).
Folding it takes no time and is a breeze. It's a bit tricky to get it rolling when folded, but I think it something I will find the knack for.
The 20in wheels are great, it's a bit more twitchy than my 26in wheels on my MTB, but nothing I cannot get used to. In fact round town with silly pedestrians and cars it's advantage! I'm considering getting some off road tires/wheels and seeing if it can even replace my mountain bike! I've seen other jetstream owners do this with great sucess.
Thanks for posting the pics. The Big Apples look good. I love the color too, seems appropriate for that type of bike.
Here is wishing you many troublefree miles.
