Hideous ------ed "fixie." A symptom of the fixed gear craze a few years ago. To me it's worthless but I could see it going for $100-$200 on craigslist to someone who wants a bike that looks cool, or something.
Better have strong hands with a V-brake lever pulling on a caliper brake.

Better yet, good luck operating a lever that is totally askew with the bar grip. It's just there for decoration, anyway, as real fixie riders don't need brakes.
BTW, the OP also cross-posted this nonsense in SSFG, and it's getting beat up there as well.
Either a shill or just trying to sell w/o and upgraded membership. Either way, don't see this member lasting long on BF.

http://bit.ly/ofnw5e Im not trying to sell it here or anything. i just wanted to know how much this bike costs because my dad won it, in some contest and gave it to me . they told him that it costs around a 1000$ plus http://bit.ly/rr2JHG It looks like the frame is pretty good quality. So i checked LDG's website and the same frame the bike has is worth 750$ . Dont have to get all snippy .
I have a bike of my own so i might be here once in a while

Sounds like the OP already knows how much it is worth. With that in mind, one has to wonder why he, or she, would be asking the folks here at Bike Forums. And for those who got snippy, shame on you. Poor newbie just might loose face over some of the cutting remarks.

I don't really know. how much it costs . My dad told me a 1000, but i don't believe that. i checked eBay and there are no ldg bikes their. Craig lists had one though. I checked the LDG website and there is no price on a completed bike. Just the frame and all the other stuff. i want to sell it because i already have another bike. so i thought id come to a bike forum and see realistically how much this bike is worth because y'all know a lot more about this stuff then me. Adding up all the things on the bike it sounds like it is worth a grand.
But now that ive seen your input im kind of confused.

+493,752,107 And if you can get $750 for it, grab it fast.
To be fair, not classic, not vintage, really the wrong place to ask. I can't tell the difference between one of the myriad of $200 to $300 FG/SS bikes out there and this one. Well, actually, I like the brakes on the BD ones better.

Yeah, this is really a question for the SS/FG forum. Most folks here would need to be paid to ride a bike like that. Not trying to be snarky; just saying that there's little chance of you getting a favorable appraisal here. Most of us just aren't familiar with bikes like that (unless you work in a bike shop that caters to fashion bikers)...

You still hang out in SSFG? I don't know how you do it. I got tired of the same four threads over and over again. I've settled on here and the mechanics forum.

This comment caused me to have a look at the SSFG forum. Won't do that again!
