Alpo is Soylent Green!
Gallagher questioned the need for flavors in dog food, by saying, "Look what they do, they lick their butt. They should make BUTT-flavored dog food...."
Experiment: outside, behind the garage, cook up some chitterlings (chitlins); see if your dog will eat them. I know the ONE TIME my sister's husband cooked chitlins in the house, the whole house smelled like dirty ass for three days.

I don't know if our cats would like mouse-flavor, but they sure like chicken!
I noticed on the latest bag of our usual dry cat food that it said "improved flavor". How did they know that the flavor was improved?

I believe Farley Mowat lived on mice and wrote about his experiences in a book about wolves,so feel free to write him and ask.

Surely there's got to be plenty of rats and mice available. Just ask Dave Letterman.

My cat won't eat mice. She'll play with them and leave them bleeding on the floor. She usually doesn't finish them off, and I have to.
Edit: By "finish them off" I mean kill them. I certainly won't eat them.
