So, just found this on fleabay. Part of me is tempted to buy it because I've been looking for a Paramount similar to this for quite awhile now.
But it feels like its EXTREMLY overpriced. Am I right or wrong? Opinions?
How rare and common place are these? Any comments on its condition and what I would have to put into it in order to ride it occassionally?

It has been listed and relisted for quite some time now, so the $2700 is too high. It is not rare, in that we see them several times each year. Its condition is pretty typical, if not on the better side for a bike this age. A big plus is it looks complete and original.
The real question is not whether it is overpriced or not, its how much do you want it? You mention you have been looking for one like this one for a long time, how patient are you? While it is not worth that price to me, it may well be worth that price to you.
Myself, I have knowingly paid over market for an item when it was exactly what I wanted, where I wanted it, at the time I wanted it, and when I could afford it. As long as you are not buying to resell, it doesn't matter that much. Heck, I knowingly paid over market for my house, by quite a bit. Location was perfect, lot was perfect, era was perfect, etc., etc., so I paid over market. Notice I did not say I overpaid, I paid what it was worth to me, which was more than it was worth to the average buyer in the marketplace. I don't regret it for a moment, and would gladly do it again. The choice is yours.

i also like this bike quite a bit and if it is a 30s paramount it isnt over priced. i posted about this bike a few weeks ago. the serial numbers make no sense to me and i didnt get an answer on what year it might be. by the numbers its not a 30s. the bike has been listed and relisted quite a few times id just like to know what year it really is
