Did you give it a try. ? The Santa Monica Mountains.. That would be some pretty awesome training.. Heading up into the mountains towards Santa Paula is something pros do.

I get the SAG and "company" but not sure that would justify the cost personally. That is an easy area to ride unassisted so... I'm sure it is fun though.

Pactour runs a bunch out of Tucson in February and March. Otherwise, just look for a commercial bike touring company -- they usually tend north as spring goes on.
