In the future, just put that you are selling this bike, and what do we think of your ad.

Is it your size? Reynolds 531 main tubes. Rear derailleur is not stock but if it's going to be a rider not really an issue. Looks like a 1987 with the non-aero brake levers.

Vintage steel Treks are popular and a good value IMO. It's not flip material if that is your question but if you are going to ride it go look and see if it works for you. In season where I live I could easily sell that for $250 with the small frame size. A petite college girl would want it.

Well I bought it for $89 on Ebay...so I am going to flip it, the only factors are weather right now...I ride a 63cm so not my size lol but thanks for your advice:)

Where'd the ad go? Could you post some pictures here?

+1 Just say you want to sell and ask for opinions rather than "what's this bike worth?" That line makes us think you want to buy the bike.

A bit on the pricey end of the scale, at least for my market. Can't speak for yours. I think it would go for $250 here quite quick.

I think between $250 and $300 is fair spring asking price.

for starters the seat looks too high.

it has Suntour Shifters and freewheel and a shimano rear derailleur so it may not shift well.

the rear wheel is too far back in the dropputs. for some reason the rear brake is nutted and the front is recessed.

is the fork a replacement?

I would expect to see aero brake levers on a Suntour Alpha 5000 equiped bike.

the water bottle mounting screws are missing.

the routing of the toe straps needs adjusting.

no caps on the ends of the cables

there is a front reflector bracket but no reflector

I'd say about $200-$250. Nice 531 frame but not a 531 fork, that hurts the value. It also has quite a mix of oddball components.

Only if the shifting is indexed.
