Anyone having problems with there G2 throttle only button. Everything else seems to work fine The console on the new system only has the On, Mode and + - buttons not like the older console. Thanks Tony

I just had to replace my Bionx G2 throttle. I have around 6000 miles on it.It stopped working after around 4000miles of use. Since I really don’t use it I just left it alone. A couple ofmonth later the BionX system would not give me any assist. The controller wasjust frozen. I brought it in to my BionX dealer and found the throttle hadshorted out. Natually I have the BionX system for around a year and was notcovered under warranty.

Problem solved. Bringing it back to dealer was not an option. After emails back and forth with Bionx Tech. support They Guided me through some code changes and now it works great Like you Jerry I really do not use throttle only. But for what the console cost I would like it to work. Bionx was really on the Ball on this one

Hi Guys, My Bionx G2 throttle has been, well....not as good as I would like. Intermitent performance, when it works, its wonderful. When it does not, frustrating. Poor, repeat poor follow up from Bionx. Who just blow me off. My dealer just rolls his eyes. Bionx is great when it works, but poor support from the Company and Dealer. For the cost of this kit, it should be 100%. I think I will post a review of it on YouTube soon.

I was lucky I had another console to check the throttle switch It worked with my original. But did not work with the second one . So I knew it was not the throttle itself The console set speed was set to Zero . Bionx Tech. support walked me through it. They always returned my Emails within a reasonable time. How old is your kit Does your dealer have another console you could try to see if it works If it is out of warranty a new throttle is $44.00. Your dealer should walk you through the process of elimination instead of Rolling his eyes

I have to post this follow up. My Bionx was still under warranty. I took it back to the dealer. It appears there was some problem with the battery, which they replaced for free. Also replaced the throttle free. All is now well, I am riding the bike I originally wanted. Just in time too as gas prices have been going crazy. :thumb:
