The circus is in town and today all eyes are on the trapeze act high over the center ring. They are all packing up and leaving late tonight, so before they go, I figured I’d do my civic duty and go vote.
It was a nice, partly sunny 42*, so I rode my bike the 1¼ miles to the polling place at the elementary school and locked it to the big bike rack in front of the school. Needless to say/sorry to say, it was the only bike there.
After voting I headed down to the local rail trail for a couple of miles, then on to the back roads for a few more miles, then back home feeling good. The only bad was some ding-bat girl who made a right turn in front of me a little too close for comfort. :mad: Luckily, I was only going about 12 mph and braked in time.
All and all, a good days ride.
