Ok im getting better at manualing ive done about 15 feet max or maybe 13 feet. Well anyways i cant seem to ride any longer im bending my knees and arms slightly, and leaning back over the seat but i dont go to long. I can sometimes turn the crank about 1 or 2 times but then i go down, does it come with practice cause i try it about 20 or so times a day? This is kinda a stupid post.

1. If you are cranking, then it is a wheelie, not a manual.
2. If you have been practicing for about a month then you are about where you should be.
3. PRACTICE... For the next year. Don't ask about it again for another YEAR at least. Manuals are a skill, not a trick. You don't just 'do' manuals, you make them second nature - like riding a bike.

I think that there are 2 realy good ways to learn manuals.
1. Whenever you are biking to somewhere just try them on the way.
2. How I learned them was durring the winter I dried off my driveway with a hair dryer and practiced them in 10 degree wether for 15 minut shifts so that my hands didn't get to cold. After winter was over I only had to practice for about 5 more months to do a 400 foot one.

Well I'm not. :D If you ask an experienced riders if thats good he'll say it' not that big of a deal. At least I think he will, because the only other riders in my town are like 25 and they don't even consider riding with me(i think it's because i'm only 14 and they think I suck). So I don't know how good that realy is.
ive been riding for like 15 years (i got my first 16" BMX when i was 4 - the ones with pads).I still cant manual for more than 10 feet. I can wheelie for about 50 feet. so dont fret, just do ur thing.

Have some one hold you up as you manual down the street. thats what I do.
Yep, I been trying the same for a while, it will be worth it when you can do it though !
I get a few wobbly feet then wheel down.... it's just finding the sweet spot with balance I think.

dont just use your arms and legs, try using your back and head for balance.
