Looking for clip on front fender...i can't run full fenders.

Any opinions on the SKS Mud X vs the Planet Bike Grunge Board?

Curious if they were worth it for mildly wet conditions....I don't ride in down pours.

I don't want to thread jack you or anything but while were kinda on the subject, does anyone know any good mud guards for the rear?

sks mud x really only keeps your torso dry.
your pants are still going to get caked.
if you really want to keep dry, then you might want to consider planet bike speedez... err whichever model works for your tires.

take a look at sks, zefal or planet bike. all the clip on fenders work the same, more or less.

The reason to Zip Tie is that people will steal it otherwise....

I have that zefal croozer road fender. Like someone above said, your torso will be dry but your legs and feet will be wet. What about mini sized traditional fenders that just clip on? like the crud roadracer fenders

I haven't been able to find a Zefal Croozer Road front fender anywhere in the USA.

I thought about that, but i don't think i have enough fork clearance even for those (eai godzilla fork with 28c tires)...it's pretty tight as it is.

going to give the zefal a try since it's cheap.

Crud catcher fender works really well. I also have a Mud X and a grunge board, and for skinny tires, the Crud one works well.

Plus, it's only 99 cents! http://www.amazon.com/Crud-Products-Catcher-Fender-Grey/dp/B003YC6I3E
