Hi everyone,

Im at the hardware store and like the dumb ass that I am I forgot to bring my bolt (not the chainring bolt, the one that attaches the crank to the bb spindle) with me. Im trying to get a 2 in. bolt to keep my bb tool attached when removing the bb (pro tip seen in many places such as RG)

anyway, pretty sure its 3/8 but not 100% sure. would anyone happen to know? thanks.

haha so i was wrong on both counts. god i hate SAE. ill see how they match up to each other.

M8 x 1 was spot on. Thanks a lot.

I just got home and tried it out and it threaded in by hand perfectly. I also got an M8 x 1.25 since it was only $1, and it wouldn't fit.

Now let us let this thread gently fade into the depths of the BF archives.
