Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Heyyy!
I am a complete newbie to the cycling world and just picked up my first bike for the purpose to get around locally and joined up on some bike rides. Eventually I would love to commute to work on my bike but not sure if my body is ready for that feat yet!
Been trolling throughout the day and already learned so much!

I picked up a Specialized Tricross.
Pictures are attached.
My commute is really short as of now but I am currently looking for an apt that will place me further away form the office. Im hoping to find something which will allow me to bike to work but a lot of things come into play for me to make that decision. I have been looking through the commuting section all day and got the opportunity to get a feel of what ppl go through for their commute. ALso, the Southern California section is very helpful. Looking forward to being a contributing member of the forum!
