The KM has been geared and neglected for the past ten years.

Since buying the Steam Roller and getting addicted to SSing again it was time to strip hit down and start riding it

When I had my Lobster SS I ran 34 x 17 but that was 15 long years ago.
We'll see how 32 x 18 works with the 29s and my fatter ass.

Today is the born again maiden voyage, wish me luck..

Cool! I've just recently put together a mt. bike with 34x16 gearing for neighborhood rides up and down a few hills . Spins out around 10 mph but that's ok , on most days I'm braking on downhill to keep the windchill from freezing my face. Good way to get in some cardio without sitting on a trainer indoors, which I couldn't do. Too boring.

confused... WTF is this frame? its definitely not a 1x1...

it's definitely not a 26'er disc trucker...

It's also, definitely not a steamroller...?

Good luck!

I tried 34x15 on 26" on my first trailworthy SS but was not man enough for that. Need to get off my ass and install 17T cog to see if I can cope with that.

"qft" is Ihipster for what?

regardless, I had a blast, 32x18 got me up everything my derailleur would and the serenity on the downhills along with the challenge of the stumps and the jumping were a hoot

I'm in wuv again.
