Introductions - Hi from Las Vegas NV

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I want to get back into the world of bicycle riding. I am 54, injured my left knee a few years ago which hampered my ability to ride, and walk for that matter. Now I am ready to get back into riding, but my current old bike is too difficult to ride, the bar being so high. I just cannot get on the bike anymore. My husband is 62 and still has no problem getting on his bike, even with the high bar. I bet that will change as he gets older.
I am in the market for a new bike, a low step through type. I hope to find out a lot of information in here. It looks like a great group. :)

Welcome to BF. I moved to Indianapolis from Las Vegas 3 years ago, and there is so much I miss....

As a former resident of LV, I recommend a bike that gives you the ability to ride off of the roads.
