Been retired for 2weeks now and have around 8 hours on the saddle. All on the trainer.:notamused: Oh well, 3 days of skiing have been a bit more fun.
I have been riding for 30ish years off and on but now with work behind me I am ready to get back into it in a bigger way. Did some racing in the late 80's/ early 90's as a "master"(what does that make me now?) But since then it has been mostly short recreational mtn biking. I am planning on a 160km grandfondo in July so I will be looking for some training tips. Hopefully 7 months is long enough so that I don't finish the day in the hospital!
See you on the road. I will be on a white Specialized Roubaix. Purchased 14 months ago. Love it. Also have an '89 vintage Bottecchia, my old race bike being ridden by my son in Vancouver. He gets loads of comments. All good.
