I have a set of THESE (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Shimano-Deore-LX-ST-M570-Mega-9-Rapidfire-9-spd-shifter-brake-lever-EXC-J-/380379616893#ht_4716wt_754) LX brake lever/shifters. So, as the thread title states, what are the trade-offs of using them in the higher brake power position? Surely there are some or they would just make them with that as standard, right? I'm running a BB7 in front and a lower end(weaker) Tektro in rear and was thinking of running them on different power settings to even things out, but don't want to end up with really different brake feel or something if it's going to make a big difference.
