I'll hold off on comment until I see some sort of route. Depending on the route, it could actually be an interesting ride.

Don't be so quick to judge. Eastern Colorado isn't Kansas...and Kansas isn't what people think it is. Southeastern Colorado has places like this

Junction may have canyons but I know they don't have anything like the above.

^^ It does look a lot like western Colorado. Probably the same geology too.

We have some dinosaur tracksites, but, no, we don't have any dinosaur trackways quite like that. None that have been exposed yet anyways....

Yep, it is the Picketwire Canyon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Purgatoire_River_track_site) site.

coming up on your right you'll notice the arid expanse of Kansas while in contrast on your left you'll see the arid expanse of Colorado. as an added bonus you'll see just how many semi's avoid the weigh stations by using the same county roads you'll be riding.

I have family in Yuma county and agree that it could be a fun ride. It's all about attitude and perspective I guess.
