Hi Everyone. Has anyone toured the Big Island of New Zealand? Trying to figure out a tour for late fall/early winter of this year, I will have two months, and am just trying to come up with some trip options. Thanks, Zach.

Howdy zlj75. If you look down the list of threads, you'll see one on "New Zealand Advice." I've posted there as have a couple of other folks. I've got some details in that post and would be happy to answer specific questions. I'm not sure what you mean by "Big Island." It is not something I've heard used aside from Hawaii. I've toured both the North and South Island of New Zealand. With only a couple of months, you may want to stick to the South Island. Far more bang for your buck. It will still be cool in North America's late fall when you get to the extreme South. If you're going earlier in fall (their early spring), you may want to stick to the North Island if weather is a concern. You can get some snow in the mountains down South.

Best,

Brian
