Welcome to the forum! That's a nice bike.

Stop by the Southern California regional forum and say hello. There are some North County riders who might take you up on your offer.

Howdy there neighbor and welcome to BF. I too am currently an Escondidian but am more of a Road Bike guy right now who has considered getting a mountain bike and hitting the trails over at Hodges this summer as a change of pace occasionally. Biking and a little change in eating habits will definitely fix the fat bit if that's on your list of things to do. That bike looks like a lot of fun though... hmmmm....

I've never ridden at Lake Hodges, but also try Mt. Israel (off Elfin Forest road) and Daley Ranch (next to Lake Dixon) both are great, and of course in the mountain out east...Cuyumacca state park
