Interesting looking bike... Looks like it has some sort of golf-cart wheel on it. I wonder why they didn't go for larger diameter wheels in order to speed the journey, and I would think spoked wheels would probably have made for lighter gear.
Oh well, they made it anyway and did part on a bike so that's cool. I don't ride when it gets around -30C here, I don't go anywhere using any transportation if I can help it when it drops below -40C.

Actually, the "winter cycling" forum probably has a large number of cyclists who do in fact ride in the cold.....though maybe not like your link.

You'd be better off posting this in the "road cycling" forum -- at least based upon the number and type of cyclists I see around the DC area in the winter.
