Mountain Biking - CUBE or not. Guess the frame.

Hello guys!

I'm new here and i come to you with a question about a weird situation.

I want to buy a second hand mountain bike that has CUBE written on it. I didn't find anywhere on the internet a cube bike with a frame like that but what i find is that the frame is very similar to a Yeti Ultimate frame but it's not exactly the same.

The part that is holding the rear wheel is rounded on a Yeti frame and the "CUBE" is not rounded, it's "regular" if i may say so.

The bike has a rigid frame and no fork suspension.

My question is if you know a CUBE bike (or any other manufacturer) with the frame almost identical to a Yeti Ultimate frame?

Cube is a German brand. Been around a while, and the e-stay style bikes have been made by many companies. Back when they were the new hot thing, a lot of bike companies were making them.

It's likely old enough that you'll just not be able to find much info on the web.

You don't see as many e-stay bikes still around - the rear ends and BB area on nearly all of them were on the flexy side, which led to many of them cracking/breaking over the years. the ones that weren't this way were because they were ridiculously overbuilt to compensate.

It is not an e-stay as you will see.

A custom bike perhaps... an actual picture of the bike would help...

The front triangle is different... unique and the bottom bracket below the chainstays technically make it an e-stay frame.

If this bike is for sale at a shop, why don't you ask them what it is?

They say it's a CUBE :)

Problem solved. I get a reply from a CUBE partener and they saythat in the last 7 years, CUBE didn't made such a frame.

I won't buy this bike.
