i ride some flat but i don't have flat specific bike.

i try some flatland, i have the Joker, with 4 pc Handlebars. I can only scuff on the front wheel. Hey why is everyone riding 2 pc bars now?

mirra used to ride 4 pc bars, now he has shifted to 2 pc. Some 4 pc (and 6 pc) are lighter than 2 pc.

That's not correct... well over 4 piece perhaps, but 6 and 8 piece bars are the strongest on the market.
The bends in tubes are by far what weakens them the most. When you go to a 6/8 piece bar with no bends, just welds, you have eliminated the bend, and the number one failure point of handlebars.
The good part of 4 piece bars is that they can use metals of different thickness in the appropriate failure areas to increase strength. But, since the bend is not eliminated, the bars still tend to fail as often as 2-piece bars.
Oh - and I've been known to ride a little flatland. ;)

Like I said, 90%. I rode Castillo Bars for four years and never broke them; I was riding with Brian Jackson from the old San Jose Ramp Club today and he's had the same Haro Jackhammers for at least five now.
But, yes, six and eight piece bars are incredibly strong. I mean, hell, if George French runs them, they have to be strong.

4 pc is better if u do flatland, and street. Anything above that is strictly flatland. My friend actually had a one piece, looks very short and wierd

I ride a bit of flatland , i can do nose tailwhips, rock walks,lawn mowers and dork wheelies , i have the WTP daredevil 2005 , its not really a flatland bike!
