I can't find it in the 1998 catalog, but in 1999 the Moab 3 was a pretty respectable mid-level MTB: http://www.trfindley.com/flschwinn_1991_2000/1999_25.html
Value today would probably be about $150 on craigslist as long as the fork is still good. Condition of the suspension fork is one of the first things I check on a used MTB, once they die they're dead and are expensive to replace.

Ive heard both 1997 1998 for this color http://www.trfindley.com/flschwinn_1991_2000/1998_c05.html this shows the 1998 colors. I was kinda hoping it would be worth a little more then 150. I have 50 in the tires.

It could push $175-$200 if you're lucky but that's really the top for a bike like this. Older MTBs get no respect, riders want the latest and greatest and the old ones get pushed to the side unlike road bikes which hold their value much better. If you only have $80 in it that's still a good deal, and you could still make a good profit if/when you decide to sell it.
Looking at the picture again the saddle appears to be set too low for you, unless I'm missing something. Your leg should have only a slight bend when at the bottom of the pedal stroke. Keep raising it until you've put it too high (you'll know) then lower it back down to make it comfortable again.

Thats my wife but any higher its hard for her to get on it :) she was also jumpong onto it here so her foot isnt touching the pedal.

Have her read this: http://sheldonbrown.com/starting.html
Then she'll be able to properly start and stop the bicycle, allowing for proper saddle adjustment (which is very important!) With the saddle too low excessive strain is put on the knees and pedaling efficiency is greatly reduced. Most beginners set the saddle way too low, nervous about being "too high up" or not being able to get on and off the bike.

You can rebuild old shocks for short money.
