Here's the deal...going to pull the trigger on one of them: The Davidson is a late 80's build and the Lemond a newer carbon/Al frame/fork. I have a few steel bikes now and actually I'm kind of curios about the "newer" stuff. I really do not like the way carbon rides and have not ridden the newer aluminum bikes in years. BYW the Davidson in in REALLY good condition and has the original steel fork and Stronglight headset....The Lemond geometry is attractive as the head tube is taller and I can use a bunch of different stems to get a good fit.

Davidson - it will still be delivering the goods decades after the Lemond has broken apart.
