As in quoting a prior post and it appears in a shaded blue box such as this? Hit the "Reply With Quote" button immediately under the post you want to quote/include.

Once you've done that, delete anything you want out of the original text, and type your comment a line or two below it. Make sure to leave anything in [these]...

Or if you just want some text in the blue box, just type the text but precede it with [ QUOTE ] and end it with [ /QUOTE ]. But leave out the spaces.
