Does your love of bicycles extend to hanging up photos, posters or artistic representations of bicycles around your house? Does your SO embrace or resist your desire to be surrounded by two wheeled beauty? I am fortunate to have an incredibly tolerant wife!

Poster I received for sending money to support the race.

This is actually a copy of an advertisement print a local shop had...they gave it to me to copy and there's about a 50/50 shot the bike Bauer is posing with is the bike in my basement!

Bought this at a flea market several years ago.

A friend at work won this in a raffle and gave it to me...I have some good friends!

This showed up on my CL last year and I had to have it...original stone lithograph. He had a second I should have purchased, but didn't want to spend the cash on. I tried buying it later and he'd sold it.

My Richard Sachs Tourer got me this at the Bilenky sponsored Philly bike convention.

Iconic image, but I love it...

Absolutely fantastic Aaron.

I am fully authorized to do a bicycle themed basement, so I better get the sheet rocking finished this spring.

Bike shop, trainer, and big screen.

Yep, all a guy could ask for.

Thanks for sharing.

Great stuff!

The basement is my domain as well, it's currently decorated with cars and planes mostly but I can't work on bikes down here due to the smells from the chemicals.

I don't understand your comment at all...what's to get? I like cycling, I like bikes and I like bike related decoration. I thought others might feel the same way and be able to share some of their art or posters.

Only three of the posters are in the basement...the rest are spread through the house.

Banned from the house, it is in the office.

Mostly dead Italians.

My Eddy seems a bit more faded than yous.

I knew you were a man of taste! I've tried buying a couple of those Corgi cars once or twice, but they always sell for much higher than I'm willing to spend on an office toy.

I was expecting more like.. bike parts turned into decorations (IE DD's lovely works), ;) It's neat stuff, but I guess I'm saying I'm not so classy and prefer metal bits laying around for myself.. making sense yet?

I collect old shop signs. I don't yet have any on the walls, but I will someday. [Click!] (http://www.flickr.com/photos/gridplan/sets/72157629072333525/)

I put in a full exhaust system in the shop. No paint, but anything else goes.

The only biking pics in the main house are from my wife's triathlons.

Additionally, I finally took down my Joy Division and Wire posters last year. :(

They were in the hallway.

Corgi Paramount team car. 10 Euro. Not bad. Most I see are in the 40+ Euro range. I think I spent $25 for those 9 guys, delivered.

I'll be in Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany for five weeks in the summer of 2013.

Happy to dig for these at flea markets, shops, and local online avenues.

I can't say I am at this point yet, though my bike is the largest piece of "wall art" in my our house.

Banned from the house, it is in the office.

It's the combination: real women and pictures of bikes.

I use real bikes and pictures of women, works much better. :)

I've got this poster up, which i love (living in Boston and all):

I also recently started a project, which i haven't completed that involved me buying tons of bicycle themed stamps from around the world off of eBay and then I'll somehow put them into some big frame. the best was the ones were form Mongolia, East Germany or the 1972 olympics stamp for the US:

there are tons more too!

While I have several pictures and posters in the shop, my favourite piece is the chair my son designed and built for his 7th grade science project. Six years later, it's stood up well, surviving heavy duty usage under his currently 6"-2", 190 lb frame, as the perch for the video game drum kit. It's both practical and decorative.
