Introductions - Hi 16 yr old runner from california

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hey, welcome.
I'm 16 and I'm from Maryland. I run cross country, but I'm not all that into it (My best mile time was like 5:30 last year, this year I hurt my knee and hip and was out for about two weeks mid-season which killed me). It helps my wrestling and biking and everything.
Biking really helps your running a lot and, in my opinion, it's more fun, but it will definitely help you. Good luck and your running and your riding.

awesome, well, i exaggerated a bit, i haven't had a chance to run a mile lately, my previous best was 5:33
i've been training every day because track season is going to start soon, and the last thing i have timed was a 2:28 800 meters, so i kinda guestimated what it would've been.
i mostly train in the hills, that's why i dont know my recent time, i know i've improved my pace alot though
hope to see you again, thanks alot for sayin hi
