I'm a 50 year old huge guy from rural Ontario. I commute to work some days, and ride rail trails and some tours. I almost made it to 4000 kilometers this year, before the snow flew. I used to ride trails but I'm too old to fall down now. I would like to ride across Canada possibly this summer.

Hi and WELCOME! Congrats on the 4000 km!

You are just a piker as far as being "old." We have over 275 folks 50 and over (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=63147), all the way to 92, and one person in his 80's who rides 2,000 miles a year with one leg.

Anyway, youngster :D , drop by the 50+ forum (http://www.bikeforums.net/forumdisplay.php?f=220) and join in the fun!
